Summer Fun & Learning
“Learning by doing” could easily be the theme for the SDSBVI summer program. It is an opportunity for students to learn new skills and try new things. We focus on the skills students with vision loss need to be successful in school and in life. They will learn how to travel safely and efficiently, explore the use of technology for both learning and leisure, practice skills such as cooking and self-care, experience new recreational and social activities, and learn how to advocate for their needs.
We are preparing students to step forward with confidence and a vision of lifetime success!
